Great communities are built through moments that matter. Across mobile, PC, and console, games have a unique ability to turn play, identity, and shared experience into meaningful participation.
That’s why we’re hosting a Games for Good panel on February 19th focused on connecting community, product design, and platforms through philanthropic collaborations. We’ll explore how games enable players to participate in causes through the experience itself — making impact part of gameplay, progression, and community, rather than an external ask.
Our host, Talia Shmuel, will lead a conversation with industry experts Galina Fedulova (Wooga), Silvia Gallo (Mappr), Josh Larson (Breakthrough T1D), and Daniel Madrid (Dots.eco) on how teams design and execute in-game charity activations that feel authentic, engaging, and impactful, including:
- Building Player Connection Through Purpose – How studios give players meaningful ways to express values and participate in causes through how they play and show up in-game.
- Designing Impact Into the Product – How philanthropy can live inside gameplay, events, cosmetics, and progression systems across mobile, PC, and console.
- Messaging & Community Engagement – How teams communicate with players before, during, and after activations to maximize participation while keeping the tone genuine.
- Lessons From Live Implementations – What’s worked in real games, what hasn’t, and how teams think about success when impact is part of the experience.
Don’t miss the chance to hear how industry leaders are using in-game philanthropy to build stronger player relationships while making a real-world impact.
