After the launch of Tavern of Legends, Empires & Puzzles‘ revenue was +92% and downloads were -15% 3Do3D compared to the same days from the previous week.
During this 10-stage mission event, heroes can only be used once. Players can spend an event currency to purchase rare summons.
Mission events represent a potential opportunity for RPGs, making up just 5% of event releases in the past three months. Three apps—Dragon Ball Legends, MARVEL Strike Force, and BLEACH Brave Souls—accounted for 45% of all mission events in the past year.
Although the average number of apps releasing mission events per month has increased from 3 to 4.2 in the past six months, mission releases are growing more slowly in RPGs than in casino and puzzle apps.
