Prize Wheel Respins

Clown’s Wheel in Jackpot World centers around a respin feature that creates two stages of anticipation for each spin: once when players wait to see which symbols land, and a second time as they wait for a wheel spin to determine the value of each symbol.

Because the wheel spins add prizes to multiple symbols (even those from prior spins), each wheel spin becomes progressively more valuable and exciting as players progress. To help players focus on which symbols are active and what values those symbols receive, the machine uses a clean visual design with a monochromatic background that minimizes distraction.

Release Trends

Clown’s Wheel is built around two very common features: respins and bonus-only wheels. Respins are by far the most commonly released base game feature in slots, while bonus-only wheels are the second most frequently released wheel feature.

Innovative Machines

Other noteworthy releases include several machines with pick’em bonuses. In Slotomania’s Love & Karaoke, a pick’em awards free spins and items that fill a collection page. In Lotsa Slots’ Hold My Gold, a pick’em includes a symbol that triggers consecutive bonuses in the base game. And in Caesars Slots’ Buzz Buzz Buzz, landing certain symbols adds prizes to a pick’em board that triggers the pick’em when complete.
