Cash Frenzy’s Bonny Buccaneer includes a social bonus in which players pick characters that compete to earn multipliers and cannonballs. Each character then shoots their cannonballs at ships to earn additional multipliers.

This machine uses elaborate visuals to enhance its pirate theme, including animated transitions, several backgrounds, and distinct character designs. However, the bonus doesn’t clearly show other players’ character choices—a missed opportunity that would enhance players’ sense of both competition and collaboration. 

In this report, we detail the machine’s strengths and suggest how Cash Frenzy could speed up the bonus’ final stage to make it even more engaging.
