4D Bond Machine with 2D Base Game

The big ticket IP for Scientific Games continues to be Bond. With this IP, Scientific Games experimented with a 4D/2D combination machine. Scientific Games built the hardware so that players experience 2D during base game and 4D during the bonus, a swapping of visual experiences that could work nicely in social. The video below is from Fantini Research.

The Live and Let Die machine utilized single-slot spinning mechanics, strong visuals from the Bond IP, and two screens to excite players. [pigeon_protect]

Mesmerizing Stacked Symbol Spins in Wonka

The new Wonka machine produced a mesmerizing spinning mechanic, starting with a single reel set that expands to three reel sets. During the expansion sequence, the player becomes focused on the green screen, then white lines, and finally stacked symbols.

U-Spin is Back with Wheel Spinning Interaction

U-Spin is re-released with a wheel that players can ‘Grab and Spin’. The video below is from Fantini Research.

Lightning Link Upgrade Superlock Jackpot

Superlock Wheel was added to Lightning Link. When symbols land in the Lock It Link spin with a mini-wheel, a wheel spin is awarded.

Expanding Reels During Free Spins

In the Dragon Spin machine, players can win multiple bonus games … such as randomly placed wilds on top of an expanding reel set.

3 x 3 to Progression Mini-Game

The Game of Life IP machine utilized a 3 x 3 reel set with a progression game board  and a wheel … placing the focus on the board game (and add-ons), and less on the slot machine spinning experience.

Asian-Themed 3 x 5 on Massive Screen

Even as the screen size expands, Scientific Games managed to build some machines for Plain Jane player types. Dancing Drums was one of the best examples: a 3 x 5 machine with a large real estate of screen, but a visual focus on the reel set for players who want to find flow.
